Terms & Condtions

Welcome to BBnet! By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Definitions

In this Agreement, the following terms have the meanings assigned below:

  • Agreement – This document and any associated order forms.

  • Authorized Installer – A person or company approved by BBnet to install or maintain equipment.

  • Commencement Date – The start date of this Agreement.

  • Equipment – The hardware and accessories provided for service use.

  • BBnet – EOBO Limited t/a BBnet.

  • Minimum Subscription Period – The initial service term of 12 or 24 months from installation.

  • Notice Date – 30 days after written termination notice.

  • Premises – The location where the service is installed.

  • Service – Internet services provided by BBnet.

  • Subscriber – The customer receiving the service.

  • Subscription Fee – The cost of service, including applicable taxes.

2. General Terms

  • BBnet provides internet services and/or equipment to the Subscriber.

  • This Agreement represents the full agreement between both parties.

  • Any changes to these terms must be in writing and signed by both parties.

  • BBnet’s rights are not affected by leniency or extensions of time.

3. Installation & Acceptance

  • The Subscriber is responsible for ensuring the premises is suitable for installation.

  • If the Subscriber is not the property owner, they must obtain written consent from the owner.

  • BBnet is not responsible for service issues caused by lack of access to the premises.

  • Subscribers assume responsibility for any damage or loss of equipment once installed.

4. Payment & Charges

  • The Subscription Fee is payable monthly in advance.

  • A prorated amount applies if service begins mid-month.

  • BBnet may adjust fees with prior notice (except during the Minimum Subscription Period).

  • Late payments will result in a €10 administration charge per failed payment.

  • Service reconnection after non-payment will incur a €50 reconnection fee.

5. Contract Duration & Cancellation

  • A 14-day Cooling-Off Period applies under EU regulations (SI 484/2013).

  • If the service is fully installed at the Subscriber’s request within the Cooling-Off Period, cancellation may not be possible.

  • After the Minimum Subscription Period, cancellation requires 30 days' written notice.

  • Early termination requires immediate payment of the remaining contract balance.

  • If BBnet increases prices or makes major changes, the Subscriber may cancel with 30 days’ notice.

6. Ownership of Equipment

  • All equipment remains the property of BBnet.

  • The Subscriber is responsible for protecting it from loss or damage.

7. Subscriber Responsibilities

The Subscriber must:

  • Obtain landlord approval if renting the premises.

  • Notify BBnet if moving to a new location.

  • Not modify, sell, or transfer the equipment.

  • Allow BBnet to retrieve equipment upon service termination.

8. Network Use & Restrictions

Subscribers may not:

  • Resell or share their internet connection without BBnet’s written approval.

  • Use the service for illegal activities, hacking, or unauthorized access to systems.

  • Send spam, viruses, or engage in malicious online behavior.

  • Host servers, websites, or any services that cause excessive network use.

  • Interfere with other users' access to the internet.

BBnet reserves the right to suspend or terminate service for any violations.

9. Liability & Indemnity

  • BBnet is not liable for loss of data, service interruptions, or indirect damages.

  • BBnet is not responsible for content accessed through the internet.

  • BBnet’s liability for direct physical damage is capped at €10,000 per incident.

10. Service Interruptions & Force Majeure

  • BBnet will make every effort to maintain service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.

  • BBnet is not liable for service disruptions due to factors beyond its control, including:

    • Severe weather, natural disasters, or power outages.

    • Government actions or changes in regulations.

    • Network congestion or third-party provider failures.

11. Termination & Breach of Agreement

BBnet may terminate service immediately if the Subscriber:

  • Fails to pay fees on time.

  • Violates the terms of this Agreement.

  • Damages or misuses the equipment.

Upon termination, the Subscriber must return all equipment to BBnet.

12. Changes to Terms & Conditions

BBnet reserves the right to update these terms and will notify Subscribers of any changes. The most recent version will always be available on our website.
